BIOTECH AUSTRIA celebrated its first anniversary on April 27, 2022, with impressive growth, reaching over 60 member companies within just one year. Members, supporters, entrepreneurs, and guests were invited to the 1st BIOTECH CIRCLE AUSTRIA at the Vienna Stock Exchange. A talk by Dr. Werner Lanthaler, CEO of Evotec SE, titled “Data, the New Oil,” provided fascinating insights into the complexities even in the early stages of drug development. Experts Dr. Elisabeth Lackner, Dr. Helmuth Schühsler, and Florian Frauscher discussed the innovative power of the biotech industry within Austria’s research and economic landscape.
